I'm not a chili fan, but I can eat this chili anytime. I love to smell it cooking and mmm mmm mmm does it ever taste wonderful.
INGREDIENTS
3 T Olive Oil
1 lb ground turkey
1 large onion
3 bell peppers (green, red whatever. I use colorful because I like pretty)
3 T (or more) minced garlic
2 or 3 cans of beans (depending on how much you like beans) I use black eyed peas, but you can use black beans, kidney beans or mix it up!
1 15 oz can of tomato sauce
1 or 2 habanero pepper (if you don't like HOT, don't use it at all)
1 T brown sugar
1 t worchestershire sauce
1 T basil
1 T sage

Fry turkey in oil with garlic, salt and pepper. When it's almost done, I add the peppers and onion for a few min. Put mixture in crock pot with remaining ingredients and let it cook on low for 6 or 7 hours. If you are home while this is cooking, be prepared to have your mouth watering all day.
