If we take care of our body, it will take care of us! We only get one and it has to last us for a lifetime, yet most of us service our cars more than we service our bodies. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, there is something you can do that will get that heart pumping and your body moving. Don't feel like if you aren't in the shape to do p90x that you can't workout! There are plenty of things you can do to get that booty moving.
Here are some tips that will help you get moving and STAY moving:
ACCOUNTABILITY
In order for you to stay active, you have to keep it up even when you don't feel like it. If you have a friend who wants to get into shape as well, DO IT TOGETHER. You will be less likely to skip a day if you have someone who is holding you accountable.
DON'T SKIP
Once you skip a workout, it's so easy to skip another...and another until finally you are no longer working out. I find when I skip a workout, the next one always hurts way more than normal too. : ) Be consistent with your workouts. I find working out with videos is ideal for me - I can do it right at home and at the same time each day. It has become part of my schedule and everyone around me knows I workout at the same time each day so they don't expect me to do anything during that time. I make it IMPORTANT because it is.
CHALLENGE YOURSELF
I started Insanity because I HATE cardio. hate. hate. hate cardio. It's challenged every fiber of my being and let me tell you - my heart has never loved me more. When you are doing your workout, whatever that may be - push yourself to go a little bit beyond what you think you can.
DON'T MAKE EXCUSES
No matter what your situation in life - you can do SOMETHING. You may be ready for Shawn T or you may want to stick with Richard Simmons for awhile. Don't want to use a DVD? Start walking! Join a zumba class! Yeah, it's hard! I've always taught my children that anything worth anything is difficult - otherwise everyone would have it and it would lose it's value. It IS hard, but it is worth it and you will feel so much better in your everyday life...AND soon you won't want to live without it.
Why exercise?
IT IMPROVES YOUR MOOD AND SELF CONFIDENCE
You'll have a better attitude because you feel better, can breathe better and can just "do life" easier - and even cooler you will begin to see changes in that mirror when you are naked!

MORE ENERGY
Regular physical activity delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your entire cardiovascular system. It makes the circulation of blood through your heart and blood vessels work more efficiently. When your heart and lungs work more efficiently, badaboom badabing MORE ENERGY.
BRINGIN' SEXY BACK
Let's face it. As we get older and rounder, we prefer the lights out. ; ) Wouldn't it be nice to get yo' groove back and KEEP THE LIGHTS ONNNNNN. You know it would.
Regular exercise will give you more energy and frankly, you'll look better naked! How can this not have an impact on your intimate time with your honey?!
Regular physical activity can lead to enhanced arousal for women, and men who exercise regularly are less likely to have problems with erectile dysfunction than are men who don't exercise — especially as they get older. I won't even mention the limber factor....Who says we have to get gooey as we age? Who says we have to slow down?
If this doesn't get you moving, what will...
