Starbucks has announced that it is introducing a new size called the "Trenta cup." Their "Venti" size means "twenty", and "Trenta" means "thirty."  Bigger is always better, right?

I'm sure all of you have realized the evolution of the fast food cup sizes over the years.  A "regular" is as big as a Large used to be.  America - think about it!  It is NOT good for our one and only body to drink this much sugared soda!

It's hard to order a small anymore. Try it. You have to ask for a "children's serving" in order to get a regular size.  I once sat in a Wendy's drivethru and refused the "medium" cup they offered me because it wouldn't fit in my car console.  The fast food dude explained to me how much money I was saving...surely bigger IS better?

We Americans love to "get a deal."  When you can get a 44 oz drink for just a DIME more - who wouldn't do that?!

We don't need to INCREASE our portions.  We need to decrease them.  We don't need MORE soda and starbucks sugared drinks.  We need less and to drink more water.  We all know this, so why is it so hard to stop this madness?  Possibly addiction?

Not always is bigger better and when it comes to losing weight and "LIVING" our lives in a healthy manner, size does matter.
