It's amazing how easy it is to fall off the fitness wagon. I moved cross county a month ago and let me tell you - I have fallen off the wagon...BIG TIME.
It's a gradual thing - first you skip a workout...then two. Then you start setting dates for getting back into it. Then...you visit a fast food joint and it's all over. It happens. I feel so much worse physically AND emotionally when I'm not actively getting that ticker to pound and eating well.
I think the hardest part of falling off the wagon is getting back on, but I'm bound and determined to hop back on. Starting today, I'm beginning another round of insanity because I've found this program is the best at getting me back in shape. I'm also back to eating whole, vitamin-rich food because this 42 year old body needs it! I want to LIVE and not just breathe and the only way to do that is to give my body what it needs to thrive. : )
Have you fallen off the fitness wagon? First, don't be so hard on yourself! It happens to all of us. Second, start moving that body, but don't overdo it! Find a partner to workout with you - even if you workout separately, this will keep you accountable to someone else. Finally, feed your body what it needs to work well.
I've also agreed to the 30-day blog challenge, so you will see a post every day for 30 folks!

I am sooooo gonna be following your blog! <3
You know what they say, moving is right up there with a death in the family or divorce and you moved across the country girl! I am right there with you though. I have fallen off the fitness wagon since I somehow injured my shoulder/neck/thingamajig. Hoping Chiro can make me right as rain...damn TRX training ;). Looking forward to reading you for the next 30 days, hopefully more!
You know Nadyne - I've been thinking about this for as long as I have had this blog - You would be a great co-author for this blog. : ) It makes no money (yet) and is really just here to educate and motivate others and I would LOVE to have you as a contributing author.
I never seem to get ON the wagon for more than a day or two! I resolve to do better this year though. I really NEED to!
Looking forward to the blog challenge.
