Shake it, don't break it.

My friend, Jackie, recently came to visit and bought us a Rocket Blender and we've used it every day since.  We love the shakes we can make and this thing makes it simple.  To make it even simpler, I clean and cut up fruit and put them in 1/4 cup baggies.  I store the fruit (try all kinds of fruit!) in the freezer so it serves as a yummy AND HEALTHY ingredient, as well as ice.

My favorite shake:

2 T organic coconut milk
1/4 c frozen pineapple
1/4 c frozen banana
1/4 c frozen blueberries
1/4 c. coconut pineapple juice

Seriously, it tastes so amazingly good and what a great way to start the morning!  I never measure anything - try a bunch of different ingredients to see what you like best.  Keith prefers lowfat yogurt instead of the coconut milk and has gobs of strawberries.

Thank you for our new addiction, Jackie.  xo

Soy milk always works great too.

I like mango, a thick juice (like from Bolthouse Farms or Naked), non fat yogurt, and granola. It it's too sweet for you, use the soy milk in place of the juice.
